The magnesium in Epsom Salt help you alleviate cramps of any kind, a headache, muscle and joint soreness, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, a slow metabolism, high blood pressure, swollen legs, thyroid and blood sugar issues, and so forth.  It's known as the original "chill pill".

Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) helps to reduce hardening of the organs and arteries, while it also softens and protects the skin.

Before bed, it's best to take an Epsom Salt & Baking Soda bath.

Put 1-2 cups of each in a bath and soak for 15-30 minutes. If your heart rate increases, the bath water is too hot. Adjust the temperature or drink orange juice with sparkling water and a dash of pickling salt to lower adrenalin and stabilize your blood sugar.
